Abstract :
A well segmented medical image will obtain clear object boundaries, for example for the purposes of detecting tumor cells in patients to obtain types of breast cancer segmentation based on their characteristics. for that in this study system has been created to separate objects from noise in images using the method Watershed. The process begins by inputting a digital image of the cancer, then converted to a grayscale image. Then enter the noise reduction feature using Median Filtering and the segmentation process of the Median filter image. Next, segmentation results are selected and the final process is to determine which areas will be the results. The segmentation results successfully separated the cancer objects using the Watershed method. This whole process is done using MATLAB.
