Abstract :
In this thesis the writer wants to analyze the bolts on the steel strutting graving dock project, steps in analyzing this bolt is first make a connection strutting image, then calculate the strength bolt connection based on the details that shearing resistance and tensile, of 2 inmates bolt on top of the smallest count results will be used. Then determine the number of bolts on the basis of the results of strength bolts later on for the strength of the steel rods on strutting. The results of the required bolts rounded to even numbers ie 2, 4, 6, 8 and so on. Then we will get the total number of bolts of eachs bolt diameter, by summing bolts of eachs with a diameter of bolt connection that has been set. Then calculate the distance bolts. After getting the data bolt, then insert the bolt in the connection detail image. In connection detail will be taken 1 sample diameter bolts that will be provided detailed drawings connections. Bolt with the largest diameter or diameter 32 which will be made in connection detail image. Next enter price data per diameter bolts. Previously been obtained number of bolts, bolt so that the price per diameter can be determined by multiplying the number of bolts to bolt price per diameter. After knowing the total number of bolts per bolt diameter and also the price it can be deduced. Diameter bolts can best be seen from the number of bolts are in use and the price is cheap
