Abstract :
Selection of majors to be one difficult case is determined, because it requires a lot of consideration in determining the appropriate department for prospective students. Decision Support Systems by AHP a solution for these problems. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is one of the methods used in decision making. AHP provides some criteria by calculation structured, so as to produce an alternative solution for prospective students to determine the appropriate department. The determination of system design department built android based mobile with Eclipse Java programming language, Servlet as a web service, and phpMyAdmin as a local database so that prospective students do not need to use a PC to simulate the determination of the majors. Widespread circulation of the android operating system provides an easy for decision makers to get an alternative solution anywhere and anytime without the need of an internet connection. The web service used for data synchronization.
