Abstract :
The research aims to enhance previous studies, namely electric meter system design based smartcard. Smartcard-based power meter is designed to replace the pre-paid electricity meter that uses 20-digit number voucher as a media filling pulse. In designing this system created a model and the application for processing data. Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 (Visual Basic) is used for the design of system interfaces and data processing, data storage of the results of the use of the system or the result of the electricity is stored in the MySQL database to help look at the history of use, and the use of fuzzy methods as determining the category of electricity users , In previous research, there are still a couple of shortcomings on the part of the application so that they can be developed to become even better. Absence menu to reload become one of the biggest part of the application on the lack of previous studies. Also on the processing of data to be processed using fuzzy methods can be developed better, including making an early warning by using the fuzzy method
