Abstract :
This research aims to design a system of electric energy use and access in the use of computers utilize the wake on lan technology and smart cards in the computer Lab Basic STT-PLN aims to simplify management of the electric energy usage and settings with the computerized system and regulate the students in terms of use of the lab room in accordance with the schedule of usage and contracts covering. In this research, the authors use the Software Development Life Cycle ( SDLC ) in software development with the waterfall method, software design utilizing STD, hardware design utilizing arduino, relays, AC contactor, etc and then designing databases using Oracle10g XE and encoding using the programming language Visual C # .NET. The results of this research show that the system of access to the use of electrical energy and the use of a computer utilizing the wake on lan technology and smart card solutions to reduce the problems existing in basic computer Lab in particular related to the operation of electrical energy and the use of computers in the Lab room
