Abstract :
Extravagance (waste) at a construction project is a problem that has not been handled significantly and can be caused by various factors .Those factors deal with the processes of the construction of such activity during shipping material, the activity of waiting or labor who is unemployed and activities that are not valuable for the results of the end of project thus can be said as extravagance. The effort that can be done to reduce extravagance in construction industries to increase the value is by the concept of lean construction site which is a way to design the system of production that can minimize the extravagance (waste) of discharging material, time, and effort in order to produce the maximum of the sum value. By using the method of vsm (value of a stream a binder) enabled the waste can be identified, so that it can produce an appropriate solution. The results showed that the waste on the job concrete structure on the development of project Sudirman Apartment one was the activity of waiting or the idle labor, that the savings could be minimized to Rp.1.602.562.500,- Lean Construction is ideal applied when this type of work on the construction of the building has typical recurrent. For example, multistory buildings, office buildings and residential buildings.
