Abstract :
PLN (Persero) is a company engaged in the electricity sector as a component of the electrical power supply to the country. In distributing electricity to consumers and customers, PT PLN (Persero) experienced a shrinkage problem in the distribution of electrical energy that cause harm either to PT PLN (Persero) itself and to consumers indirectly. Therefore it is necessary to analyze the causes of shrinkage so that losses can be reduced. To find out how big the losses experienced by PT PLN (Persero), PLN has its own method of calculating losses is by using the method of counting Formula Jogja. This method uses the Microsoft Office applications in the form of a Microsoft Excel file format. The method is very complicated and inefficient. In writing this paper, the authors designed a counting application Formula Jogja shrinkage method designed using PHP and MySQL. This application can provide an alternative for employees of PT. PLN (Persero) in calculating losses and non-engineering techniques, so that can know the value of shrinkage is more specific.
