Abstract :
Prepaid Electrical Metering is a kind of development used by PT PLN. By now, Prepaid electrical meter use tokens as transaction device to buy electrical energy.Public are be able to buy electrical tokens in electricity counter wherein sell electrical pulse.Inside the tokens we can find number or digits which input into Electrical Metering.If we find problem when input token numbers we have to repeat input the tokens numbers, so it seems not efficient. Smart Card utilization to substitute tokens numbers in Electrical Metering is expected could be make a common cause decreasing errors when input tokens numbers. as of that can be made an application Also this application will detect how much energy has been used and will be saved in MySQL database, and with utilization fuzzy method to define the category of pulse usage so it will help the user to know the economized, normal and wasteful electrical usage.To design the system using VB Net and MySQL programming. The result is prepaid electrical metering model Smart Card based. And this application can save how much electrical energy that we used and define the category of electrical usage
