Abstract :
Measurements had been about the effect of the one-phase and three-phase kWh meter accuracy class. To proving it the kWh meter will be installed according to it?s class, so the researcher tries to test several samples of the kWh meter brand to be tested, then the meter read error is matched or compared with the existing test reference. This research was carried out from measurements then compared after that was done the calculation of reading errors and then if feasible, then the kWh meter could be installed. The results of eximanation and testing showed that three of the four kWh meter brands tested were in accordance with the error limit, each error of each kWh was 0.02%, 0.02% and 0.07%. If there is a kWh meter that does not match the class the cause can be because the most likely possibility is that the researcher takes one of the 100 existing samples and what is tested by the researcher is one meter that does not match the error class.
