Abstract :
This research was conducted on the replacement of the current transformers class 0.5 to 0, 2s as one method of emphasis the figures shrink in PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 hut coffee. The use of a current transformer (CT) on medium voltage customers as electric quantities measurement instrument connected to the kWh meters to measure electrical power on consumers. Current transformer (CT) and the ratio of CT 150/5 with medium voltage customer PT. In accordance with the results of the calculation of the secondary power measured in kWh based on thoroughness SPLN 3.014 D-1:2009 pesentase current load, the load current conditions at which 1% class 0.5 CT did not obtain measurement results in the use of class 0.2 CT s kWh meter obtain measurement results of the secondary power of 52.7 kWh so that the difference reached 52.7 kWh, load flow calculation until it reaches 100% the use of CT class 0.2 s more accurate than CT class 0.5. Having done the calculations and gain that has been described above, so do the turn class 0.5 CT be 0.2 s and done pemantaun for 31 days until the results obtained at the time to employ the CT class 05. KWh measured 871320.00 kWh while 0.2 s secondary power scalable 960000.00 kWh by 88680 so the replacement class 0.5 CT be 0.2 s can be used as one of the efforts the emphasis of numbers shrink.
