Abstract :
losses or shrinkage is an important parameter that needs to be noticed in the process of distributing electricity by PT. PLN (Persero). The greater the shrinkage, means less efficiency of the system. In the distribution network losses can occur due to several factors, including technical and non technical factors. In this research, efforts to reduce shrinkage on TM customers using the system AMR (Automatic Meter Reading). At the end of the project is to discuss the efforts to overcome the shrinkage that occurs on customers who have lost voltage on one phase based on the results of monitoring AMR system there is a loss of voltage on phase S for 21 days or 504 hours, with the results of the monitoring of AMR performed calculations to determine the energy that is not measurable result of loss of voltage on the phase S is equal 71029.98 kWh where this is caused by damage to the PT (Potential Transformer) installed on the customer AMR PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Depok.
