Abstract :
Electric Energy takes an important role in everyday life, Power Transformer is a device that carries out to flow electrical energy from high voltage to low voltage that is needed interruption, which causes the interruption of electricity supply to consumers. In the electric power system, the protection system is a very important component to maintain the continuity and reliability of the distribution of the electric power system. Protection system serves to protect electrical equipment from damage in the event of interference and prevent interference is not widespread. Most of the protection failures are caused by the amount of fault current that occurs, in this case the protection relay used is the Overcurrent Relay. It is necessary to set up a relay connection that is installed starting from the GH side to the Power Transformer side so that each relay does not preceding each other and the interference does not extend, so it takes coordination time on the GH side to the Power Transformer side with the value 0,14s; 0,53s; 0,92s; dan 0,17s with a TMS value 0,098; 0,267;0,263; 0,34. So that the performance of the overcurrent relay can work selectively.
