Abstract :
PLTU Banten 2 Labuan is one of the subsidiary of PT. The State Electricity Company (PLN) engaged in the power generation and Maintenance service Unit (UJP) is operated by the operation and maintenance business Unit (UBOH) managed by PT. Indonesia Power. At PLTU Banten 2 Labuan has 2 units of generator with a capacity of 2 X 300 MW. Basically a good electrical system is a reliable electrical systems in every moment and there should be a source of voltage at all times. In connection with the safety in the Power plant unit of Banten 2 Labuan, electricity system in the plant unit at some point should not be disconnected from the electrical irrigation, even in the condition of Black Out and Over Houl. It aims to avoid heavy damage to turbines and generators due to loss of lubrication. In order for all the DC Lube Oil turbine systems to lubricating the bearing continues to operate, a reliable emergency power reserve System is able to support the needs of all emergency loads in it, then at PLTU UJP Banten 2 Labuan It is necessary to have an Uninterruptible Power Supply system, which is one of the electrical appliances that serves to provide temporary power when the main power goes out. Main power derived AC Power Input from emergency section B 380 Volt then streamed through rectifier to be converted into DC to be stored in charger battery.
