Abstract :
In writing this final project reply about testing the transformer and how the influence of temperature when the transformer is tested and to find out some specifications and characteristics of the transformer core. PLN's Research and Development Center (Center for Research and Development) as a network and container for testing on several electrical devices as a prerequisite for a tool used in the power system used by Indonesia Power. Tests conducted at the PLN Research and Development Center (Puslitbang) are free testing and load testing. The focus of this research is to show the correlation between temperature and the amount of resistance in the windings. The measurement process will be explained as well as several standards prepared in accordance with the standards used by the Research and Development Short Circuit Laboratory. Also included in graphical form is to prove the correlation in graphical form. With the large amount of heat energy generated during the test will be found a large increase in temperature that occurs. An increase in the graph occurs at the transformer temperature followed by an increase in resistance at the transformer.
