Abstract :
One mission Implementation Unit and Distribution Manager (UP2D) Banten is operating an Electric Power Distribution System is professionally based SCADA technology and appropriate technology. SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquistion) UP2D Banten itself serves as the operating system for monitoring and maneuvering electricity distribution network. With the SCADA system in Banten UP2D to the electrical system at PT. PLN Banten will affect the reliability of the system in the process of acceleration of the recovery as well as to minimize disruption compared to systems without SCADA. However, reliability of SCADA system will be reduced if there are disturbances that are on the system. Disruption that often occurs in Banten UP2D is Failing RC (Remote Control). RC fail is when do Telecontrol ie RC command to open or close cubicles experiencing failure. Failing RC can be caused by damage wiring, switches that are in the local position, disturbances in cubicles part motorize, interference on the signal and the state of RTU Out Of Scanning / not ready for operation. If it fails RC on SCADA systems are not addressed and handling disruptions on consumers will be longer and the increasing ENS (Energy Not Supplied) and the effects will be detrimental to consumers and PT. PLN UP2D Banten.
