Abstract :
Distribution substation inspection is a maintenance program that is carried out periodically and occupies a high enough position, both in terms of its function and in terms of the required budget. This situation can occur because
the distribution system is increasingly dense and growing. The more routine inspection activities will get maximum effectiveness in the distribution of electrical energy to customers by minimizing disruptions and reducing the time
for conducting maintenance in finding disturbances and repairing construction substations that are not standard. The problem that often occurs in substations is the disturbance of corona in cubicles of 20 kV. Corona is a phenomenon that
occurs when the air around an conductor or conductor is ionized. From this process the release of cargo occurs which can result in failure of insulation in the air. The result is fatal because it can damage the equipment inside the
cubicle and result in power losses caused by corona in the 20 kV cubicle. In searching for corona losses, it requires data on Air Humidity (RH), Breaking Voltage (Vb), and Temperature. Cubicles are said to be indicated corona when
V is greater than Vd then the cubicle is indicated corona. At the P 95 substation, the results of the calculation are Vd: 5,62 kV, because it is smaller than a single phase working voltage (11.56), corona occurs at the P 95 substation.
