Abstract :
A distribution network is a channel or network that connects large electrical power sources (main substations) with consumers or users of electricity, whether factories, industries, or households. No matter how well distribution channels are installed, there is always a need for acceptable protection devices that are connected to the network. Power outages that are too often with long outages and unstable voltage, are a reflection of the understanding and poor quality of electricity. With the approval of the recloser placement plan, it is expected to improve the distribution network system. The distribution system will optimize the distribution network. The level can be obtained from SAIDI, SAIFI and FITNESS calculations in each protection component. This study aims to determine the location of reclosers in increasing the value of approval in the distribution network. Recloser placement is determined by the FITNESS value of each component, the smaller the FITNESS value, the more optimal the location of the component. In this study the optimal recloser placement point on REC 9 is near CBK 250 substation with FITNESS 64.2627
