Abstract :
Electricity losses are a classic problem faced by PLN and cannot yet be completely solved. Shrinkage is an energy loss due to technical and non-technical problems in the distribution of electrical energy, where there is a difference between buying kwh and selling kwhThe cause of technical losses occurs because of the resistance and length of the cable from the medium voltage network which causes voltage drop and losses on the transformer, while non-technical losses occur due to electrical theft and damage to the equipment. What is needed to do the shrinkage calculation is the load current data, channel length, cross-sectional area and transformer dataThe calculation method is done by using an equation or formula. At PLN UP3 Jatinegara has a shrinking target of 5.24% and the shrinkage in bungalow feeders is 1.12%. At the writing of this final project discusses the calculation of technical losses in feeders bungalo. Feeder Bungalo has 8 distribution substations with feeders length 8,203 kms. In the calculation of the total tennis losses on the bungalow feeder, the result was 407.63 kWH consisting of losses on the JTM of 79.57 kWH and losses on the distribution transformer of 328.06 kWH.
