Abstract :
Airport runway pavement will be damaged due to repeated load aircraft, aircraft type, environmental conditions, and the age of the pavement that would reduce the safety, comfort, and efficiency of flight. By aircraft movements each year continues to increase. Therefore, it takes an action to improve the condition of the existing runway by identifying the damage occurred and the appropriate treatment. The method used is to use the method of the FAA and the measures used to analyze the structural damage to the pavement with a PCI parameters and PCN, damage modeling, evaluating the effects of the structural and COMFAA FAARFIELD program. And conduct modeling of pavement overlay with flexible and rigid. The results of this analysis are projected damage proposing design capacity by overlaying with flexible and rigid, as well as designing a new pavement layer for the construction of the third runway.
