Abstract :
In the medium-voltage distribution systems up to a special distribution in Medium Voltage Cable Channels (SKTM) in the working area of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Tanjung Priok, power losses and shrinkage in the electric power distribution can no longer be avoided. There are several factors that influence the shrinkage of the high value of them is the channel length and the selection of the appropriate conductors. To suppress losses as a result of the distribution can be accumulated with the use of a good conductor types and appropriate. Previous use of conductor types NA2XSEYBY alluminium (Al) in the feeder segment KABIN-SD136 SD105 get shrinkage percentage of 0,0844% at noon and night peak loads. After assumed by the use of type conductor N2XSEYBY (Cu) ) in the feeder segment KABIN-SD136 SD105 get shrinkage percentage of 0,0510 % at noon and night peak loads.
