Abstract :
To improve customer service quality, PLN must improve their performance, especially in the Energy Transaction section, where this is the one that directly deals with various types of customer service. Therefore the use of a qualified kWH meter, namely the electronic kWH meter with AMR system needs to be used to replace the electromechanical kWH meter. The AMR (Automatic meter reading) system can monitor the amount of electricity consumption by industrial scale customers and can directly control all activities related to electronic meter activities from the PLN office, especially the Measuring and Limiting Parts without a meter reader. Because of that the accuracy of electricity usage data by customers can be guaranteed. The AMR system can also detect disturbances to customers including missing voltages on one phase, unmeasured current, and stop measuring on kWH meter. Rapidly detected interference will also speed up the repair process so that can reduce shrinkage values in the kWH meter measurements at the customer.
