Abstract :
Energy loss or losses energy are parameters that always considered and become a classic problem that is often happened in PT PLN (Persero), because losses are parameters that show how good a system are. So the smaller the losses the better the system. the required data to calculate the losses are, profile load data for AMR, feeder length, the type and the cross section area. Calculation method is carried out by using equations or formulas and then compared with the value produced from the repair alternatives. Based on the activities results on the Trikarya 4 feeder, it is known that the cause of the large energy losses due to the small crosssectional area of the conductor. the smaller the cross-sectional area of an conductor, the greater the energy losses that occur, are effect the conductor resistante.The way to reduce energy losses in Trikarya 4 feeder is by reconducting the conductor that has a small cross-sectional area. By calculation results through AMR load profile analysis obtained energy losses in Trikarya 4 feeder at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bulunganare are 6653.288 kWh or 0.81 % and for repair alternatives by reconducting the conductor, the energy losses are 5536.157 kWh or 0.4 %
