Abstract :
With the rapid growth of electricity usage, customers of PT.PLN (PERSERO) Rayon Borobudur are increasing, with the increasing number of existing customers in PLN Rayon Borobudur, the power supply quality of those channels
should be better, the factors that affect the bad power supply are the voltage drop across a channel. The load, and the length of the network greatly affect the voltage drop that occurs, but the magnitude of a load is more influential to the
voltage drop than the network length. Thus, the voltage drop should be overcome immediately. In this case, the voltage drop has touched 15.7%. The possible solution to fix the voltage in the channel is to use the method of mounting the
capacitor in the network, because by installing a capacitor of 7.963 microfarrad the addition of voltage at the end of the pole M3-418-82-82 could reach 2.2%. By simulating the installation of one capacitor in various places, the most effective place to do is to install on pole M3-334, because M3-334 is in the middle of the load capacity used. By installing two identical capacitors at the M3-334 and M3-
295-1 poles, the addition of voltage could reach 5.4%. This can improve the quality of the voltage to be better, compared to installed a single capacitor
