Abstract :
In the three-phase system, the transformer load imbalance is very common. This is a result of the electrical load is not the same because of the addition of electrical loads that do not pay attention to the loading on each phase. At the time of the distribution transformer load on phase R, S, and T are
generally operated balanced or uneven. But in fact the case, the division of the burden can not be balanced. If overlooked and unpunished, causing overload load in one phase. This causes the low voltage network cable and one coil on a
transformer fire due to overheat because the load is too large. Transformer performance is not a maximum due to the imbalance of the assignment. The imbalance also affects the load on the transformer neutral current value also. The current flowing in the transformer neutral is causing losses. So we need equitable distribution substation transformer load regularly in order to reduce imbalances. At the substation transformer load equalization GBA done to lower
the neutral current which previously amounted to 146.04 A. Then fell to 50.26 A after the load equalization at the substation.
