Abstract :
The disruption that occurs on an electrical power distribution network must be immediately sought the location of his disorder appropriately and quickly to improve the quality and reliability of electric power distribution network itself. Therefore many of his methods used in the determination of the location of the point of interruption of the cable ground then writing this just discussing about the method of Mapping (mapping areas), Initially we do testing on cables to find out which phase is interrupted/crash. Then look for the long distance and cable interruption point location. His first stage i.e. constant voltage impulse for a few seconds to process the detection point disruption. After the known distance cable disruption then continued using the method of Mapping to accelerate the search point location cable disruption by using a reference map that contains the path of the underground medium voltage cable. Then do a search point cable interference by listening to the sound of an explosion that had previously been in the impulse voltage. After the point location of the cable disorder is found, this last one stages namely signaled the ground or road improvements to be done on cable misbehaving. As for the difference in the duration of the recovery time of the determination of the point without using Mapping and using the Mapping that is 280 minutes and 60 minutes, with the speed of each method that is 0.113 m/s and 0,531 m/s.
