Abstract :
Losses is a parameter that must always be considered by PT. PLN (Persero), because that parameter shows how good the efficiency of a system. The larger of losses value, the smaller the efficiency of the system. In the distribution system losses can occur due to technical and non technical factors, among others, caused by resistance in the conductor that is permanent and the condition of the system itself. Currently already applied methods of measuring electrical energy by using the AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) system. AMR system is a system of reading or retrieving data of electrical energy measurements to consumers locally or remotely, where the reading schedule can be determined as needed. AMR can identify some elements that can cause losses, such as current, voltage and error during wiring. From the calculation results through the analysis of AMR load profile, the total losses of energy in the Geografi feeder at PT PLN (Persero) Serpong Area is 0,4%.
