Abstract :
Measurement of electrical energy has a very important role in determining the income of electricity companies. Meter kWh is a measure of energy transactions between companies and customers that must be agreed by both parties and get the legality of the government (Directorate of Metrology). Error of energy measurement data is a source of customer complaints against power companies. Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) System is an automatic power meter data reading system that can be used for monitoring and controlling energy supply to customers, as well as to support administration and billing needs. AMR system readings are generally carried out remotely using specific software through telecommunications (PSTN, GSM, CDMA, DPLC / Radio Packet) that are centrally integrated from the control room. With AMR system accuracy in electrical energy measurement will be more accurate, besides AMR also can detect the existence of abnormal in energy measurement earlier so can reduce energy losses and can improve service at PT.PLN (Persero) Area Cengkareng. The problem in this final project is how to utilize data of electronic meter reading through instantaneous data and DLPD on AMR related to the electrical energy measurement abnormality which can lead to measurement error.
