Abstract :
In a system Electric power distribution, especially in medium voltage cable channels, certainly does not escape interference - disturbances that occur, with frequent interference will damage the equipment. Such as: transformers, conductors, insulation and connecting equipment. Therefore, there is a need for priority in terms of reliability. If there is a blackout on the electric power system, especially at the substation it will cause the feeder to turn off so that electricity is not channeled to the consumer, the continuity of electricity distribution is not good. Disruptions that occur at the substation may be caused by a lack of protection / delimiter at a special consumer distribution substation that cannot function properly in the event of a disruption. So if the substation reaches the trip so that it will cause all distribution substations on the feeder to go out, and can disrupt the distribution of electricity to other consumers due to the outage. To overcome this problem, there are several solutions that can be done, such as transferring the transformer load through the coupling panel. This can be done by connecting two busbars using a coupling. With the use of Kopel's cube, it is expected that the number of blackouts can be overcome
