Abstract :
The Medium Voltage Network (JTM) functions to distribute electricity from the substation to the distribution substation. The rated voltage used by PT PLN is 20 kV. JTM construction is divided into two, namely Medium Voltage Overhead Line (SUTM) and Medium Voltage Ground Cable Line (SKTM). As for various factors that can affect the distribution of electricity such as the construction of infrastructure that can interfere with the Medium Voltage Overhead (SUTM). Therefore, network security is carried out in the form of line replacement which is initially air into a ground cable line in the segment of KDR180 to BC 279. From the impact of the replacement, a comparison is made between before and after being replaced seen from the energy loss and the voltage loss. Energy losses and voltage losses after being replaced are greater than before (about 0.3% increase in energy losses) and (about 0.01% increase in voltage losses).
