Abstract :
Low Voltage Network Distribution System is the closest channel to electricity consumers. Every consumer of electricity consumption is recorded on each kWh meter, as well as for the substation the distribution of power consumption will be seen on kWh meters at the distribution substation. When conditions occur where the amount of power consumption in the consumer is not the same as the power supplied by the distribution substation, then in this case there is a loss both technical and non-technical. Electrical energy loss in the low voltage distribution network at the Distribution Station is seen from a technical point of view, then provides a solution to the existing problems. The method used is the calculation of voltage drop and power losses. The area of the network, the type of conveyor, and loading are very influential in the distribution of electricity, if the area of the network and the type of conveyor does not meet the need for loading, there will be a power loss and voltage loss which will affect the distribution of electrical energy to consumers where if the voltage shrinkage occurs in the distribution system electrical energy that will be distributed to consumers will become nonstandard according to SPLN No. 1; 1995, where the voltage drop allowed in distribution distribution may only be 5% for the air network, so it is necessary to calculate and research for the problem of voltage drop, so that the delivery of electricity to consumers becomes fulfilled in accordance with the established standards. in the calculation of one of the distribution substations, KN6B can get a voltage drop value of RN: 5,847 V which is 2,25%, SN: 4,216 V which is 1,85%, TN: 5,121 V which is 2,22% which is good enough because according to the standard limit + 5% - 10% according to SPLN No. 1; 1995, and a total of 1085,456 kWh of power losses in 1 month
