Abstract :
Protection systems are essential in electrical systems, especially for work reliability and protection of systems in electrical machines. Relays are one of the most widely used protection devices in power systems. The types of relays vary depending on the required characteristics, one of which is the differential relay on the transformer. In PT.PLN the use of protection system is absolutely necessary to support the performance of electric power system because as a state electricity company, PLN is the leading substation in the distribution of electricity throughout Indonesia.
