Abstract :
PLN (Persero) is a state-owned company engaged in providing electricity and electricity maintenance services to consumers. Distribution of electrical energy from the substation to the center of the load requires a distribution channel. Problems that often occur in the distribution channel are short circuit disturbances. Disturbance is a barrier from a system that is operating or a condition of an electric power distribution system that deviates from normal conditions. Often the location of the interference is not immediately detected or can not be immediately known the location of the location, thus slowing down the process of handling interference. The distance of the disturbance location can be estimated from the calculation of the location distance, then implemented using a geographic information system so that it can provide a good visualization of the estimated location of frequent disturbances. Geographic information system is an information system that is used to enter, store, retrieve, manage, analyze, and produce geographically referenced data. From the data information obtained the simulation results and the calculation of the location of the disturbance is at a distance of 4.19 meters from 175 meters the channel between bus 4 and bus 5; 7.05 meters from 297 meters of channels between bus 8 and bus 10; and 6.53 meters from the 365 meter channel between buses 15 and 16.
