Abstract :
Solar cells are a technology that converts solar energy into electrical energy. This technology is very applied in Indonesia which has tropical potential, but there is a major problem of this system is the instability of the power generated. The power generated depends greatly on the intensity of the sun received by the solar panel. The intensity of solar radiation received by solar panels can be maximized by installing solar panels, with the right angle. By using an experimental method, this study discusses the tilt angle to the irradiance obtained in order to determine the best angle and highest current so that it can be used for solar panels so that the power obtained is maximum. The results of this study obtained the best angle for Solar panels in STT-PLN is 25° on 3 September 2019.
