Abstract :
The occurrence of disruption in an electric power distribution network must be localized promptly and quickly to locate the disturbance to improve the quality and reliability of the electric power distribution network. Because of the many methods in determining the location point of ground cable interference, this writing only discusses the Mapping method (mapping the region), we first test the cable to determine which phase is disturbed / experiencing interference. Then look for the distance and length of the location of the cable interference point. The next step is to impose a constant voltage for a few seconds for the detection of fault points. After finding out the distance of the cable interference, then continue using the mapping method to speed up the search for the location of the cable interference location by using a reference map containing the SKTM cable line. The next step is to search for the point of cable interference by listening to the explosion that had previously been on a voltage impulse. After obtaining the location point of the last phase of the cable disturbance, that is to mark the ground to be repaired on the cable that is experiencing interference. The difference in duration of recovery time determination point without using mapping and using mapping is 280 minutes and 60 minutes, with the speed of each method is 0.11 m/s and 0.53 m/s.
