Abstract :
Current transformer is one instrument transformer that transforms from a large current to a small current for measurement and protection. To find out the condition of the current transformer is still feasible to use or not, it is necessary to conduct testing. The test uses the Omicron CT Analyzer. CT Omicron Analyzer is a device that is capable of testing current transformers and displaying automatically such as ratios, angle shifts, and others. After that do the calculations to find out the saturation of the current transformer and the current error after testing, to find out it's still worth using or not. After testing the result of calculation on the CT current flowing on the secondary and primary side at PT.Samyang is 126,3 A and 1010,4 A, at PT.Jasamarga Properti is 99,45 A and 198,9 A and at PT.Indograveur is 341,35 A and 6827 A. So the maximum current limit that flows in the secondary and primary circuit if the result is more than the limit, the current transformder begins to saturate. And current errors that are still obtained in a safe conditions because it does not exceed the specified limit 0,25%.
