Abstract :
An electric power system at one time consists of several non-essential systems, namely the generation system, transmission system, and distribution system. Therefore transmission and distribution is very influential on the quality of electricity that reaches consumers.Based on the results of the blackout analysis at PT PLN (Persero) Prima Pakuan Rayon, the biggest contribution to the cause of blackouts is interference with the medium voltage cable line (SKTM), rotating blackouts due to less power reserves, and due to network maintenance. One way to overcome this is by using the Moving Substation Unit (UGB). This UGB can be a solution to the outages that occur, to maintain the continuity of electricity distribution in the distribution network that replaces the role of the substation. This study uses a quantitative method approach by calculating SAIDI and SAIFI on two different substations using UGB.By calculating SAIDI and SAIFI, we can find out the reliability index at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Prima Pakuan. From the calculation results, the reliability index at SAIDI in the BPB 630 substation reaches 0.315 minutes/customer/year, while the reliability index on SAIFI reaches 0.0011 times/ customer/year. And from the results of the SAIDI calculation on the MWU 630 substation it reaches 0.239 minutes/customer/year, while the SAIFI results reach 0,0009 times/customer/year. From these data it can be compared that when a disturbance occurs by using the Mobile Substation Unit (UGB), it will have a faster recovery time than when when not using the Mobile Substation Unit (UGB).
