Abstract :
One factor that causes the damage of voltage regulator is the feeder bug. Feeder bugleads to through-fault current caused by short circuit distraction that results in mechanic or dynamic force that can damage transformer coil. Coordination of OCR/GFR relay setting between feeder and incoming should be done. If the setting of over current relay or ground fault relay in feeder is not proper, the bug duration will be longer, it also can influence the damage in voltage regulatorwhen incoming OCR relay is not fast in backing up to send trip to PMT. Thus, a research about the influence of short circuit current towards lifetime transformer should be conducted. This research will be about OCG/GFR protection setting coordination towards 150/20 kV transformer based on 2016 agreement.
