Abstract :
Prepaid KWh meter is an electrical measuring instrument used to measure and calculate the value of active energy in energy transactions agreed between PT. PLN (Persero) with prepaid subscribers in kWh (kilowatt hour). The accuracy of this pre-paid kwh meter has an important role in earnings results in PT PLN. Because more than half of the customers in PT. PLN (Persero) Area Cikokol Tangerang many use kWh meter prepaid, then PLN should be obliged to monitor kWh meter pre-paid that has been installed long, so that the operation of reliability kWh meter prepaid stay. One of his efforts is to replace non-SPLN kWh meter prepaid kwh meters into SPLN prepaid kWh meters. Because the pre-paid kWh meter in accordance with SPLN D3.009-1: 2016 is already equipped with new technology features such as short code of each brand is the same, has a double sensing feature that is relay and anti tampering sensor function to reduce meter misuse. Replacement of non SPLN prepaid kWh meter using Time Base Maintenance (TBM) maintenance method is maintenance based on prepaid kwh meter age more than 5 years after installation. After replacement, this prepaid kWh meter tested its class accuracy in Cikokol Area Test Lab Tangerang. From the results of data obtained, kWh meter prepaid non SPLN despite being more than 5 years old the installation is still accurate equal to 88.44%. Because the data obtained 11.56% exceeds the accuracy class from the sampling result 320 kwh meter of prepaid in the test.
