Abstract :
It has been known for long time that foods hold an important role as prevention and cure of diseases, to develop the potential of human resources, achieve a higher level of life quality and help to live longer. Nutritional problems should be our concern. Starting from individual level, continued to the higher level (household and national). In a state of healthy or sick, food needs to be set properly. Because of the shortage and excess nutrients will cause the body to suffer disease or also known as malnutrition. This error occurs because the diet and a lack of understanding and knowledge about nutrition. The things mentioned above became the reason for the author to compile a thesis about nutrition with certainty factor method that stated belief in an incident (facts or hypothesis) based on evidence or expert assessment. Used method from developer software or SDCL (System Development life cycle) is water fall method, for applications design using UML (Unified Modeling language). For the database using PHPMyadmin and for coding using PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor). The results of this research indicate that this application can help the implementation of balanced nutrition in determining the appropriate food that body needs for all walks of life. As well as the application of science experts/expert on nutrition who have already poured into this application can overcome the constraints of the conventional system
