Abstract :
HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) has seven segments, each of which has a number of pipes in the thousands. This pipe will drain the fluid which will be heated to the system at HRSG itself. Pipe length affects the price of heat transfer and the amount of fluid discharge which also affects the efficiency of each segment of the HRSG. The HRSG uses a forced circulation type, the bundle of heat exchanger pipes is mounted horizontally. The hot gas entering from the bottom side moves above the heat exchanger pipes, and then comes out to the chimney. The generation operation using a combined cycle generally consists of several gas turbines while the residual energy in the exhaust gas from GTG whose temperature reaches 560?C will be reused for heating the air in the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) to produce steam that will be used for steam turbine or Steam generation Turbine Generator (STG). This method results in a high efficiency compared to other thermal uses. After retubing the LP Economiser section, there was an increase in HRSG efficiency from 11.27% to 13.89% with the same load of 100MW.
