Abstract :
Material Screen Wall superheater tube UBOH Banten 3 Lontar power plant unit 1 which suffered damage in the form of material fatigue occurs on a surface so that the plant needs to be terminated operational for some time. Given the importance of the role of a power plant in order to meet national electricity needs, of course, the dismissal of plant operation like this should be avoided because it may cause losses for both the producers and consumers. Screen superheater tube wall has a very important role because it serves as a partition or curtain of superheater. Therefore, in the writing of this thesis will be tested on the material screen wall tube superheater with testing methods include chemical composition analysis (spark oes), analysis hardnes (Method Rockwell), as well as metallographic analysis with a few times magnification with the aim can be identified mechanical properties and microstructure.
