Abstract :
One way to deliver gas from the gas station (offtake) to consumers is by passing the matering regulating station. At the matering regulating station there are basic components including a gas filter, relief valve, check valve, pressure gauge, regulator, safety shut off valve. Regulators play a very important role in the distribution of gas to consumers. If the regulator does not work well, it can cause loss and not satisfy the consumer. This can be seen if the regulator is damaged. 8:00 to 17:00 gas pressure at that time rises to 9.0189 bar. Where this is one of the causes of damage to the regulator is a dirty gas filter, the back pressure to the regulator, and, the membrane on the regulator is leaking. This makes the pressure channeled by the MR / S (matering regulating station) of Daan Mogot SPBG increase or not in accordance with the regulations set forth in the MR / S. Therefore, countermeasures are made by improving the regulator so that gas flow to consumers can be stable again.
