Abstract :
Circulating Water Pump is one of the equipment of the cooling system and the main pump that serves to circulate sea water as the main media to the condenser to be cooled. If there is damage to the Circulating Water Pump, it will cause the unit on the PLTU trip. This will cause damage to PLTU equipment. Damage to the Circulating Water Pump will result in decreased performance and efficiency of the Circulating Water Pump. If the pump performance decreases, the amount of steam that can be condensed into liquid again will decrease. In its operation, damage to the Circulating Water Pump is caused by (a lot of sewage pipes, cavitation, leakage, broken bearings etc.). So that the pressure outlet of the Circulating Water Pump has decreased in flowing water to the condenser. Damage or overhaul repairs must be done in the right way so that the efficiency of the PLTU is maintained. After obtaining data before and after overhaul, it is calculated to find the value of increasing efficiency of the pressure outlet. From the calculation of the pressure outlet before overhaul the average value is 126,767 KPa and the pressure outlet value after overhaul which the average value is 134,425 Kpa. The results of this calculation produce 7,658 KPa
