Abstract :
The development of information and communication technology has led to a phase in which mobile technology to be one option that must be considered. This is supported by the magnitude of the potential users of mobile phones and mobile internet in the world. Library as an institution that is very close to the book reading has an interest to take advantage of mobile technologies in the improvement of services for pemustaka. digital books is one option that can be done by the library. The study was conducted to create more advanced development of reading books in the library. Applications android-based mobile digital books created denggan waterfall method as a software development system. The data collection is done by observation, interview and literature study. In the application there is a test feature to see the results of the digital book reading material that is in the application. The study says that the digital book app android based mobile can help to develop library services in BPPKI Surabaya in the development of textbooks
