Abstract :
The Government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral pay good attention on the development of renewable energy in Indonesia by making some Micro Hydro Power Plants in some areas. These plants that had been built by the government and generally will be handed over to local communities. But after being taken over, some of them were not managed properly so that they stop operating such as at ?Kali Babak? Lantan in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This study aims to analyze the steps needed to be done to manage this asset that are currently not operating. The result are the options; things needed to be done, gradually or comprehensive repairs, requiring cost. If not, the Lantan Micro Hydro Power Plant can be disposed as junk. However, if the Plant is being expected to be operated again, this asset must be operated and managed by an investor who has better understanding to manage Micro Hydro Power Plant properly.
