Abstract :
The development of information and technology is running very quickly. Advances in technology and advances in information is due to two aspects in the world of IT, hardware and software. Department of Informatics STTPLN Jakarta is very concerned with the developments in the IT world, thus opening a class with embedded systems course. Subject Embedded Systems to learn how to control electrical appliances to make the programming logic as the concept of control. In this course, students are required to understand the microcontroller and programming. One of the most powerful microcontroller today is Raspberry Pi. This research aims to create a lab tools along with the lab module embedded systems to support the practical implementation of embedded systems in the College of Engineering PLN Jakarta using lab module-based Raspberry Pi. This study designs a lab module in Electrical appliances based Raspberry Pi. Systematic research is preliminary, foundation of theory, research methods, results and discussion, as well as the final. The method used in this study is a prototype
model, so the research is growing fast and on target. Prototype method is one of the software development methods are widely used. This research resulted in a lab module embedded systems along with lab tools that can be used by the student in the course of embedded systems to support the practical implementation of embedded systems. Lab module embedded systems is expected to be generated in the implementation of the well and as expected.
