Abstract :
This research is discuss about Diesel Power Plant (PLTD) utilizing augmented reality technology. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines 2D and 3D virtual objects into a real three-dimensional environment and projects those virtual objects in real time. This innovation can be applied to Power Plant courses which has only used the visualization of the component from PLTD in 2D rather than 3D itself as an alternative media of learning. The method that used in this writing is Multimedia and the data was collected from Singkawang Diesel power plant unit which aims to design and build applications that can provide additional interactive visual information using Augmented Reality technology based on the Android operating system. This application will be implemented to S1 Elektro STT-PLN Students on PTL courses.
