Abstract :
Archive is one of the most important elements in the business process at PT. PLN (Persero). Every registered customer has a separate archive, which should be kept strictly structured. The archives are the authentic source of information that can be used as verification data between the main subscription and the field data. There are 3 semi-computerized archiving stages that are generally used at PT. PLN Persero, namely: the first stage, the customers; sheet archives are scanned and given names based on PLN standard. The second stage, all archived data are gathered into one folder in a standardized format. The third stage, the archive sheets are sent to archive storage room. The data include the content of AIL Folder like the Customer?s Changes Data (PDL), the warrant of working command and official report, the letter of electric power trading agreement (SPJBTL), the letter of application, the copy of customer?s identity, the certificate of proper operations (SLO), and the sketch of electrical installation pictures at customer?s house. The searching process of the archived data takes quite a long time due to damage of the Central Processor Unit (CPU) commonly used to save the customer?s data. As the result, the scanned data are corrupted and lost. Thus, the data should be find directly in the archive room. In this research, the waterfall model is used as the development system, while the binary search is used as the search method. The result of this research is the Main Subscription Application (AIL) using PHP programming language and the MySQL database that can help the searching process, storing AIL Folder, and controlling the borrowing process of the AIL Folder in archive room.
