Abstract :
Indonesia is the world's largest maritime country which has a land area smaller than sea level and has biodiversity. One of the biodiversity in Indonesian waters is coastal sand and conch shells. Because the condition of Indonesian waters is a lot of coastline, it uses beach sand and clam shell waste which is still much higher than its utilization. From the problem by looking at the conditions needed, innovation utilizes beach sand as fine aggregates and shells as a substitute for cement in concrete mixtures. Concrete test specimens used measuring 15 Cm x 30 Cm with planned according to SNI 7656-2012, the cement water ratio value is 0.69, slump plan value is 75-100 mm. In the study of making concrete using a comparison between river sand and washed with a variation of shell powder 2%, 4%, 6% as a substitute for cement at the age of testing 7 days, 14 days, 28 days. Test parameters are the results of slump and concrete compressive strength. The results of river sand testing at the age of 28 days obtained the highest compressive strength of 22.27 MPa in the 2a variant of river sand (shell powder 4%) with a slump value of 9.3 cm. For the highest compressive strength of beach sand washed at 28 days of 21.42 MPa in the 2b variant of beach sand washed (shell powder 4%) with a slump value of 9.5 cm
