Abstract :
The clay clay of the cosambi thorny base is typically characteristic of clay in dry conditions, where it is hard, and when wet, it is soft plasticity and cohesive, and it expands and quickly declines, resulting in a huge change of volume due to water. The characteristics of clay clay need to be done to correct soil by refining chemically by adding the filtering rock powder and the powder of the shell shells to be added to the clay sample by varying the percentage of pumice powder 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and percent of the powder of the original soil sample by 15%. Tests thus have scored an optimum percentage of the increase of flotation dust and the powder of the green clam shell on the ground with a mixture of 3% of the driftwood dust and 15% of the seashells. Where the water value is 37,1412%, gravity spesifik 2,6915, liquid border 58,7970%, plastis border 27,7770%, plastisitas index 30,0200%, milk index 32,2968%, coercing index (Cc) 0.0813, consolidating koefficient (Cv) 0.0365 cm2/ second and development index 0,0700.
